Money from the collected cans go to CFK's operating costs or specific youth organizations that CFK's board wants to help. Currently CFK gives youth programmes & schools $0.30 per pound. This may change acording to the price of aluminum. Money raised by cans collected by a school go directly back to the school or other youth programmes. If you want money to go towards a school you will have to take your cans to Wastenot Limited or "the school".
The money goes to new computers, art supplies, books, playground areas, environmental clubs, ex.
